Kink Down South wouldn’t exist without one incredible person who first believed in our idea to build a new type of Gear Event and spark life back into Atlanta’s kink scene after the pandemic. Thank you Jay “Mother” Malloy for believing in us and giving us a home when we had none. We are proud to announce the Kink Down South Equity Scholarship is now the:
Jay “Mother” Malloy Equity Scholarship
The scholarship provides access to the event for people who would otherwise be unable to attend without financial support.
Recipients will receive:
- 1 Weekend Pass
- 1 KDS Weekend T-Shirt
- 1 KDS Weekend Pin
- Complimentary Clothes Check
Recipients must agree to:
- Check-in with either a KDS Producer, Board of Advisors member, or Volunteer Lead each day of the Street Fair (Sat & Sun) – Attendance at parties is optional
- Attend at least 2 (two) classes each day
- Provide a written or video reflection on their KDS Weekend Experience within 2 weeks of the event (or make arrangements for a recording at a later date)
