Weekend Equity
Scholarship Application
We believe everyone deserves access to kink education and community gatherings.
Kink Down South Weekend’s Equity Scholarship exists to provide access to the event for folks who would otherwise be unable to attend without financial support.
Limited scholarships are available and submissions are not guarantees of acceptance. Applicants will be notified on 6/4 of award status
Applicants can apply for either:
- Weekend DAY Pass (Sat & Sun – Street Fair and Classes)
- Full Weekend Pass (Fri & Sat Parties + Sat & Sun – Street Fair and Classes)
Recipients will receive:
- 1 Weekend Pass OR 1 Weekend DAY Pass
- 1 KDS Weekend T-Shirt
- 1 KDS Weekend Pin
- Complimentary Clothes Check
Recipients must agree to:
- Check-in with either a KDS Producer, Board of Advisors member, or Volunteer Lead each day of the Street Fair (Sat & Sun) –
- Attendance at parties is optional
- Attend at least 2 (two) classes each day
- Provide a written or video reflection on their KDS Weekend Experience within 2 weeks of the event (or make arrangements for a recording at a later date)
